While I haven’t been dabbling in professional pet photography for long, my passion for taking pictures began with camera rolls overflowing with snapshots of my family dog, Joey and every friend and family member willing to put up with my photo shoots. When I was 13 and saved every penny allowance and babysitting afforded me to buy my first DSLR camera, I was head-over-heels for the hobby. While I believe it’s common knowledge that our fur babies reign supreme in our lives, more precedence should be given to capturing their unique personalities through the lens.
